Abstract
The relevance of the study. Due to the fact that the problem of increasing the role of local administrations of social issues in urban residents is largely dependent upon the effectiveness of management at the municipal level, especially relevant research tools to identify and respond Notices to the problems arising in the management of municipali- lnym formations.
The subject of the research are the methods and tools to evaluate the effectiveness of management at the municipal level.
Purpose: To substantiate the role of monitoring the quality of life of the population as a tool for evaluating the effectiveness of management at the municipal level; reveal the essence of the theoretical concept of "quality of life"; introduce modern methodological approaches and guidelines for assessing the effectiveness of municipal government.
Research methodology: a methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach and method of dialectical cognition, will systematize and validate the theoretical and methodological approaches that reveal the nature and role of monitoring the quality of life of the population as a tool for evaluating the effectiveness of management at the municipal level.
