Hedge-funds as the tool of collective investment in Russia

Аннотация

Collective investment is developing actively enough in Russia. Nevertheless, rapid growth of capitalization of domestic stock market ended and strategies of management by portfolios of share funds which would allow to receive profitableness from investments without dependence from market condition are becoming actual. Share funds of a category of hedge-funds can give such possibility. In the present article the concept and essence of hedge-funds are given, strategies of management by portfolios of the given category of funds are described and foreign experience of functioning of hedge-funds is analyzed. Prospects of development of hedge-funds in Russia as one of tools of branch collective investments in Russia are estimated.
