Abstract
In the context of Russian economy in the framework of economic sanctions, growth in agricultural production while improving its effectiveness is not only a question of food, but also, above all, the national security of the country. Increased productivity of agricultural labor, and on that basis for sustainable development of agriculture is a high priority in the framework of solving the problems of import substitution. The aim of this work is to carry out the analysis of labor productivity in agriculture at the level of individual agricultural region, the definition of the main factors affecting the level of labor productivity, identifying the main reserves of growth of efficiency of agricultural labor. In the article the author proved that strengthening the human potential of the agricultural enterprises and increasing the efficiency of its use is a prerequisite for solving the problems of import substitution. Allocated problem now is very relevant for the majority of regions of Russia, including the Oryol region. In the Oryol region, agriculture is one of the leading sectors of the economy. Using multivariate regression analysis examined the main factors that have the greatest impact on the efficiency of use of human resources in agriculture. The analysis allowed to identify the main factors that adequately describe the overall variation in productivity levels, with the most significant factors are the average wages of workers, capital-labor and power available. Proposed measures to improve the productivity and profitability of production activity of the agricultural organizations.
