Abstract
Under the analysis there are different approaches to electricity consumption in metallurgical industry. One more aspect of the research is electricity consumption planning efficiency in a steel-making workshop of Metallurgical plant. The results obtained in the process of power dependence regression models making correspond the existing principles. The article describes the models of relevancy, adequacy and accuracy evaluation in practical work process. Summer period models they have demonstrated rather high accuracy but low relevancy and adequacy. The reason for this discrepancy is possible alternative factors influence characteristic of this season. The article also provides facts concerning electricity losses of electrometallurgical shop. The losses are mainly caused by technological energy planning consumption inaccuracies.
