The article deals with the evolution of the sustainable development concept and international and national institutional framework of its application.
The research identifies reasons of slow progress being made in implementation of corporate social responsibility in Russian enterprises.
The author comes to the conclusion that corporate social responsibility implementation is not the highest priority for Russian enterprises (organizations) due to lack of appropriate motivation.
