Investment process in the innovation economy

Abstract
The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of the approaches of Russian and foreign scientists to investment processes in the innovation economy. The article evaluates the main definitions related to the investment process, and considers various approaches of leading economists. The results of the study suggest that it is necessary to develop the theory of investment, the categories of investment are manifested at the present stage in their reproductive orientation, within the framework of the theory of information economy, scientists focus not so much on the study of investments as real investments.
